Abilities: *Being an amorphous pile of goop, it can pretty much look however it wants (it will always be black with green-lined white eyes, however.) It tends to stick to a quadruped form, but will change out of whimsy or convenience. It cannot take any shape bigger than its amount of mass.

*Despite constantly appearing to drip, does not leave a trail.

Strengths: *Its shapeshifting
*Can camouflage itself anywhere as long as there's a bit of darkness
*Sharp fangs
*Physical means of attack can't hurt it; try stabbing, burning, decapitating and otherwise injuring it. It won't work.

Weaknesses: *Because of the contract it and its entire species is under, it CANNOT physically injure any being with a sentient mind. If it tried, a invisible force field would prevent it from touching the person it wished to harm no matter how much it tried to get through. Even if it attempted to use a projectile weapon or something like poison, the weapon would bounce off said force field or the poison bottle would dissipate. It CANNOT intentionally hurt anyone. Or even unintentionally; the force field would still block it.

*While normal forms of injury can't hurt Familiar, it is very susceptible to even the weakest kind of magical attack

*Very vulnerable to diseases of all kinds. Its immune system is practically nonexistent and what would be a mild cold for a regular creature could induce hacking blood for Familiar.

Height/Weight: About 4 feet long, 2 feet high and 60 pounds.

Personality: Familiar is a very cheerful soul...creepily so, in fact. It is almost always smiling, and is usually humming, spouting random bits of songs or verse, or laughing maniacally. It loves to annoy other creatures in whatever way possible, usually saying something along the lines of "HAHAHAHAH! So many delicious secrets...what are yours?" and then getting all up in their grill. Or simply singing very loudly and obnoxiously.

"I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves~ everybody's nerves, everybody's nerves~"

And then there's the random bits of verse or sayings it likes to spew. "We are small but we are many, we are many we are small, we were here before you rose, we will be here when you fall~" (It's read many books including Coraline, which is its favorite.) It enjoys making random accusations such as "Who ate the cookie? I know it was youuuuuu~"

Any attempts to get it to shut up are doubtful to be successful as it takes nothing seriously, especially harm to itself.

Its relationship with Avonna is pretty much the same as with everyone else; why it's sticking to her like a tick is anyone's guess.

History: In a gap between serving masters, Familiar chanced upon Avonna and for whatever reason decided to accompany her to the hotel.

Other: In many biological respects Familiar is like a flesh-and-blood animal; it needs to eat, sleep and go through other natural processes. However, it doesn't need to breathe and and it can consume pretty much anything for energy (plants, meat, and toxic waste are all fair game.)
