As Allele walked her surroundings changed
Trees grew into buildings
Green and brown turned to gray
The grass became concrete and nearby sea
Confused, the woman turned to Navi
The bat had gone - her tail twitched nervously.
She tried to listen to her surroundings
No sounds could be heard.
Though all appeared different
She knew eyes could deceive
The insect woman resolved to step carefully.
Her eyes alit on a pier she managed to make out
It glowed dimly, and distracted her from all else.
She wandered toward it as if in a state of trance
Until she felt a gun appear in her hand
Swayed by some compulsion to walk quickly, not stand
She knew she had a target, someone to kill
Yet mixed with this desire she also felt ill.
Her confusion was mounting
The compulsion too strong to fight
She saw her target, a man she called friend
But it was his life she'd come to end
"!WON HSIW YM TEG LL'I !DRATSAB UOY"
A screech from the man stopped her in her tracks
It cleared her head
Just as from behind
She was attacked.
